Bruce Applebaum, M.D., F.A.C.S. - General Surgery

Bruce Applebaum earned a B.A. in biology from the University of Texas at Austin before graduating with an M.D. from the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. He completed his post graduate work with a general surgery residency and a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery from the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Applebaum is licensed to practice in Texas and is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery.

He currently serves on the clinical faculty of general surgery at R. E. Thomason General Hospital for Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. Dr. Applebaum is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and was awarded the Exemplary Teacher of Medical Students Award.

His hospital affiliations include Las Palmas Medical Center, Providence Eastside Center, Providence Memorial Hospital, and Sierra Medical Center.

Dr. Applebaum is a member of the El Paso County Medical Society and the El Paso Surgical Society.
