Oscar Vega, Jr., graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio after earning his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at El Paso. He completed his medical education with a rotating internship and anesthesiology residency at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center, Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Vega is licensed by the State of Texas and certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with an additional sub-specialty certification in pain management.

His distinguished career includes numerous honors and administrative appointments. Dr. Vega currently serves as the Medical Director for both the Las Palmas Medical Center for the Surgical Center of El Paso.
