Victor Diaz earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at El Paso before attending the University of Utah, College of Medicine. He completed post-graduate work with an internship and surgical residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Diaz is licensed to practice in the state of Texas and is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

His current hospital affiliations include the Providence Eastside Center, Providence Memorial Hospital and Sierra Medical Center.

Dr. Diaz has professional memberships with the Texas Medical Association, the El Paso County Medical Society, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the Southwest Association of Hispanic American Physicians, the El Paso Surgical Society and the Singleton Surgical Society.
