Meet Our Administrator

Colleen Alexander - RN, CEO

Ms. Alexander, a nurse leader with more than 30 years of diverse management experience in health care operations, is the Administrator and chief executive officer (CEO) of Paso Del Norte Surgery Center in El Paso, Texas. In this capacity, Ms. Alexander develops and implements programs designed to meet the vision and goals of the center. She leads and manages all operations and staff. She articulates the values, beliefs and principles that define Paso Del Norte as an integrated, multi-specialty caring facility.

She has held numerous upper level clinical and managerial positions and has worked in various hospital and outpatient facilities in the El Paso area. In addition, she has mentored and shared her wealth of talent and wisdom in the areas of consultation to support other healthcare organizations and the individuals and families they serve.

Ms. Alexander received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso. She has been a member of several professional organizations some of which include the Association of Operating Room Nurses, Texas Society of Infection Control Practitioners and Texas Society of Hospital Education. She is also a member of the American Heart Association and is proactive in many healthcare initiatives. She instills her values of quality, patient focus, continuous self-analysis, teamwork and ethics to the staff she leads at Paso Del Norte Surgery Center.
